About VR Cooperative

Shared infrastructure for the VR community

VR Cooperative is a centralized hub where anyone in the Virtual Reality community can request and share technical resources - both cloud-hosted and self-hosted. Our goal is to lower the barrier to entry for VR creators, developers, and organizers by pooling the infrastructure that every project needs but few can justify funding on their own.

What We Offer

Cloud credits - Request AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure credits for hosting, compute, storage, and networking. Run game servers, host web apps, or train models without footing the entire bill yourself.

Email & SMS sending - Shared transactional messaging so your project can send notifications, verification codes, and updates through our pooled provider accounts.

Shared databases - Managed database instances available to community projects that need reliable data storage without the overhead of provisioning and maintaining their own servers.

Coding & dev resources - CI/CD pipelines, container registries, development tools, and other infrastructure to support the full software development lifecycle.

And more - If your VR project needs infrastructure we haven't listed, reach out. We're always looking to expand what the community can share.

Who Can Request Resources?

Anyone in the VR community. Whether you're an independent developer building a side project, a small studio shipping your first title, or a community organizer running events - if you're working in VR, you're welcome to request resources through our contact page.
